This report, a joint release with the Washington Office on Latin America, offers new data about imported firearms and cross-border gun trafficking. These data, drawn from U.S. indictments that involve gun trafficking to Mexico and other Latin American countries, indicate that imported firearms may represent a larger percentage of overall cross-border firearms traffic than previously thought.
